After the land had been cleared, we had the surveyor come back out and re-stake the lot to the new position, 20′ EAST and 10′ SOUTH.

With my VERY CRUDE markups you can see where the garage wall is and “roughly” where the front door will be on the lot. With the new move the home is MUCH more centered on the land.

After the repinning, our builder Matt Noss, needed to install a silt fence and add gravel to the entrance to receive the permit to build. Here’s what the silt fence looks like:

The gravel was also added roughly where part of the driveway loop will be:

This will reduce the amount of mud in the street I guess, though I imagine it is still going to be a MESS. Excavation starts tomorrow!!
